What is Iridology |
 |
Iridology is a science which studies the iris (the colored part of the eye). The iris is the most complex tissue of the body meeting the outside world. It is an extension of the brain via the optic nerve being incredibly endowed with hundreds of thousands of nerve endings, microscopic blood vessels, muscles and other tissue. The iris is connected to every organ and tissue of the body by way of the brain and nervous system. Iridology is an amazing alternative healing tool of information which is based on the analysis of one of the most complicated tissue structures of the entire body; “the iris." Through Iridology we are able to see the weaknesses in the body and also warnings of problems that are yet to come. These warning signs in the iris can sometimes actually be seen months before a problem is discovered. Distinct markings or signs of the iris are an indication of the condition of various organs and systems of the body. However, the iris itself is not diseased when markings and signs are present in the iris anymore than a thermometer which shows a high temperature can be said to have a fever. |
